23rd May 2009 - vs Highgate Taverners, Jesus College, Cambridge
Under invitation from the St Radegund team, Vis CC play their first ever match on English soil (and for many it's the first time they've ever played on grass) - against the Highgate Taverners.
Vis lose the toss and are put into bat. When Stanko Aleksic is out for 11, leaving Vis 74-6, there is concern all round, especially as dangermen Craig and Antonio are already back in the hutch cheaply.
Vis have a secret weapon, however - guest-starring Zagreb captain Jasen Butkovic, who lifts the total to an eventual 129 all out with a watchful knock of 41.
It's just as well Jasen scores the runs, because Vis' tail fails to wag. Branko seems more at ease chatting than batting, once again bowled heaving across the line.

Used to a considerably more bumpy outfield, Vis' performance in the field is their best of the year! Left, Fire goes full length to save four byes as Tom looks on. Right, the breakthrough as Ceto once again does damage with the ball.
A spell of hostile pace bowling from Blaz Svilicic destroys the Taverners middle order and once Craig takes a simple catch at mid-wicket, the game is nearly up. The last man is out cheaply and Vis win their first tour game by 49 runs!
